Behind the Marine’s Couture name, stands the founder and designer of the fashion line, Mara T.

With a strong passion for fashion, and the talent to create unique gowns, Mara integrates her signature styles with her clients' individual personalities.
Mara realized her love for fashion at a very young age, when she started creating one-of-a-kind items for her own closet. As she matured, her passion strengthened and she decided to turn her hobby into a career.

Apprenticed to Armenian designers Mara worked diligently to establish the foundation of her professional approach to the glamorous world of fashion. After relocating to the United States in 1998, Mara graduated from the Thompson School as Dress Maker-Designer, furthering her knowledge of modern dressmaking techniques.

For several years, she worked as a sample maker for world renown designers such as Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne, Luca Luca, Sue Stamp, and many others and created their runway samples for New York Fashion Weeks.
Following the experience she gained working with prominent names in fashion, Mara decided to start her own company and present her one-of-a-kind ideas to the world.

In 2003, Marine’s Couture was born.

Throughout the years, she has developed a large and fashion forward clientele base, making people’s dreams come true through motivation, inspiration and fashion.
